I am a lover of coffee (Duh, as you can see from the name). ANd I have been on the hunt for coffee scented anything at all. So you can guess my excitement when I wrote a brand spotlight post for Lass Cosmetics and found this among their collection. naturally I couldn’t help but drool over it (as you can read from my post) and Lass Cosmetics very kindly offered to send it to me along with something else.
What the website claims: Fruit nutrients and vitamins hydrate skin to restore youthfulness & elasticity. Lightens pigmentation & skin tone.
Gentle, Pure & Natural, Lass Handmade Soaps are the real handmade soaps which passes to your hands from our hands. And nothing comes in between! We handcraft our natural soaps from some of the most effective herbs, aromas & oils nature has gifted us. And the result is the creation of purest natural bathing soaps which are safe & gentle to your skin.
It is REALLY cheap: Costs just 65 INR for 125 gms and the soap lasts for ages. I got this more than a month ago and more than 50% of the soap is still left.
It is a neat soft gel like soap. It doesn’t feel like actual but feel very creamy and has a gel like feel. Like solidified gel or butter. I love the way it feels although I’ve danced around in my shower trying not to drop the small piece. Probably should have cut a bigger piece.
Like Lush soaps, I’d advice you to cut this into chunks and then use it. It has an very smooth consistency and smells absolutely beautiful. Although it smells more like a choco-coffee milkshake than coffee, it smells heavenly. Makes me hungry. ![]()
It has a sugary substance at the sides of it. I was a little surprised because when it said oatmeal and wasn’t scrubby. I totally expected a scrubby soap and it isn’t even remotely scrubby.
PROS:
- Smells beautiful
- Lasts ages
- Very inexpensive
- Said to be made from a lot of natural ingredients and isn’t harmful
- no animal products
- no artificial colours
- no synthetic fragrances
CONS:
- I’m allergic to it (not for sensitive skin)
- Availability
Do check out these soaps though if you don’t have sensitive skin. I am now using half of it as a handwash soap and my mum is using the other half to bathe since she has normal skin.

I’m planning to try this brand and I am trying to figure out if I should or should not
If you don’t have sensitive skin I’d say go for it.
