My Summer Skincare Routine

Hey there. We “meet” again. And now I’ve got to tell you that I have successfully found a decent skincare routine and I am about to share it with you.

See how kind I am. Sharing my secrets with you.

Well, This skincare routine is helping me a great deal. It is finally calming my sensitive skin and preventing many breakouts. I don’t know what happened suddenly but the past two years have been hell with so many breakouts and so many rashes on my face. Now it has left me with holes over my face so that my skin surface resembles the surface of the moon.

But not for long.

This routine is working magic and I am thrilled with it.

Review: The Natures Co Camomile Dusting Powder

It’s summer and it’s humid. Let’s face it, the only upside to living in India in the summer are the lovely mangoes. You can’t wear short skirts or short shorts, can’t wear belly tops and anything else that would keep you cool. Atleast not everywhere and let’s face it, we aren’t going to be feeling hot when we’re out in the star hotel’s lounge, we are going to be feeling hot when we’re out in the market shopping for groceries and suchlike.

Now I have folliculitis. Does anyone know what this is? If not here’s a wikipedia link for you to understand it. Now mine isn’t so bad, it only comes when it’s humid, or if I’ve waxed or shaved and only comes in the legs and the arms. Nowhere else. But i cannot use heavy body creams or lotions and certainly nothing that has petroleum jelly in them or anything else that is going to block pores. But you can understand how it makes life hell for me….

Review: The Natures Co Bearberry and Liquorice Whitening cream

How many of you hate being tanned? Raise your hands!!!!!

I know that if you’re Indian, or Asian or hell most others as well, you’ll probably hate being tanned. Especially if you’ve been roaming around all summer and have gotten your neck darker than your face, face darker than your body and vice versa.

The thing is, most whitening creams have a lot of harmful ingredients in them that isn’t good for most skin types as it leaves out skin sensitive, inflamed and very thin. So what we can do is we can go for home remedies instead to not only protect and nourish our skin but also to remove our tan.

But let’s face it, how many of us have the time or the patience or even the knowledge of what to do to remove a tan at home. Not every home remedy works and after some time it’s easier to buy commercial whitening creams and hope we don’t get a cancer risk or any skin problems. I on the other hand discovered this online.

Review: The Nature’s co White rose under eye gel

I have eyes, did you know that? Smile with tongue out

I have very sensitive eyes and I am usually very vary about the products I apply around them; so much so that I have refrained from using an eye cream for the longest time.

I was on a hunt for an eye cream that would do something very simple, hydrate (not that I need it but preventing wrinkles is worth the extra oiliness), reduce puffy eyes in case I slept too long or too less and make me look like I’ve have gotten a good night’s sleep.

Review: The Nature’s co White pepper cleansing lotion

The White Pepper Cleansing Lotion from The Nature’s Co is something that is a deep cleansing, antiseptic & purifying cleanser.

The company says: Wipe it all off with the antiseptic and purifying qualities of White Pepper. It increases blood flow at the skin’s surface enabling the ingredients to penetrate immediately and clean more effectively. Massage a small amount gently onto your skin using circular movements. Then either rinse with warm water or wipe with wet cotton pad. It can also be used to remove both eye and face make-up.
